ORDINANCE NO. 4.033 

                                               
            AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE SALE OF INTOXICATING LIQUOR AND NON-INTOXICATING MALT LIQUOR ON SUNDAY BY QUALIFYING ESTABLISHMENTS

                                        THE CITY OF ROYALTON HEREBY ORDAINS:         

SECTION 1.         HOURS OF SALE.
The sale of intoxicating liquor and non-intoxicating malt liquor may be made between the hours of 10:00 A.M. and 12 Midnight on Sunday provided that:
                                                                                   
         (a)       Such sale is made by a premises otherwise licensed to sell intoxicating liquor or non-intoxicating malt liquor: and
         (b)       The City Council shall have issued to such licensed premise a "Sunday Liquor License".

SECTION 2.         FEES.
The fee for the Sunday liquor license shall be $200.00. Sunday liquor licenses shall be valid for a period of one year from the date of their issue.
                                                                                                                                        
SECTION 3.         APPLICATION
Application for a Sunday liquor license shall be made to the City Council in writing, and shall be issued by the City Clerk upon majority vote of the City Council. 
                                                                                                                                       
        
SECTION 4.         PENALTIES.
Any person who shall violate any provision of this Ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.

                                         
THIS ORDINANCE SHALL SUPERSEDE AND REPEAL ALL PRIOR AND CONSISTENT ORDINANCES. THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE EFFECTIVE UPON PASSAGE AND PUBLICATION REQUIRED BY LAW.
