- All dogs must be licensed in the City of Royalton,
- You are allowed to have up to 2 dogs.
- Licenses are due by April 30th of each year. You need to have proof of current rabies vaccination.

- Yes, you must get a burning permit for brush and leaves by a state fire warden. They can tell you if there is a burning ban in effect.
- You can obtain a burning permit at the City Office and the Royalton Discount Center.
Can I have a campfire ring in my backyard?
- Yes, you can have a recreational fire on property located in the City of Royalton provided:
* The fire is enclosed in a non-combustible fire ring
*The fire ring measures no more than three feet in diameter
*The fire ring is located more than 20 feet away from any structure including houses, sheds, and fences
*Only clean, dry, untreated wood can be burned
*An adult must be attending the fire at all times
*You must completely extinguish the fire before leaving the fire ring
Is there a compost site in Royalton?
- Yes, the compost site located on South Birch Street just south of the sewer ponds on the LEFT side. Keys are availabe at City Hall if you need to get to it. City Hall is open until 4:00pm Monday thru Thursday.
