May 23, 1912 Riverside Cemetery work was devoted to Building Driveways. A street was constructed along the river bank, running the entire length of the cemetery and four driveways were opened from the entrance at the front directly to the street along the river. It used to be necessary to turn the teams upon the grounds, but now teams may drive thru the grounds an to the front entrance byway of any of the four parallel driveways.
July 27, 1912 The formal opening of the Royalton Public Library will occur on Saturday, July 27, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon with Mrs. E. A. Blackwood in charge as Librarian.
September 1912 Fletcher’s High Class Moving Pictures and Photo plays come to Royalton opera House, Wednesday and Thursday, August 14th & 15th. Nothing better in moving pictures. We have our own specially constructed machine to give a steady, clear, and flickerless view. Price ¢15 and ¢25.
